Excellent!
Tom Cruise did some filming for one of his films in the hangar where I work.
The amount of gear that pitched up for a week of filming was astonishing!
They "built" a false corridor through our hangar to one of the wicket doors which led out onto the area outside the hangar on which was parked a C17.
Despite action being set at Ramstein in Germany, the filming was done at Brize Norton with its unique aircraft hangar.
After the filming was done which took about a week for what was a very brief few moments in the film(!!) I got a look down the fake corridor complete with its own lighting, wall-mounted telephones, fire extinguishers etc. Just amazing that they needed to spend all that money building it rather than finding a suitable corridor in the real world to use!
I can't recall which film it was - was a couple of years ago now but it screened on TV not so long ago. The following pics are from that film but I couldnt find much on it. (The hangar in which the 'corridor' was built was opposite the hangar in the photo)
