Fiat examniner 2 model n1311a

Hello, I have a fiat examiner 2 made around 1999 model number N1311 A OPT.FT2. when i turn it on, power does not go to the cdrom or anything else ( even though the LED light stays yellow ).
The fan turns but the computer does not boot up. Also nothing on the screen.

I tried to reboot it with the recovery disk but since there no power to the cdrom or the floppy drive..it could not be re-booted.
Does anyone know when can be wrong with it?

I really don't know. But its sounds like a computer issue. In which case need stripping down and check the power connector to the CDROM drive. Got any pictures of it?! maybe able to help more!.

The connector to the cdrom seems ok. I was thinking that the power supply to the computer which is the internal battery is defective. If so, where can i get one?

Need pictures!. But yeah if its handheld it might just be a shagged battery.

Parts are only available to garages who have registered their machines,thus have the activation code.

Yeah unfortunatly it looks like a bespoke item and not something used in the IT industry. You'll need to find a trade battery supplier I guess. And that IF it is the battery thats at fault!.
