What are you talking about? I have a 2012 Fiat Panda and the ecodrive works :)

Ehh?!

I was on the eco drive website and it states this:

Car Spec:
This version of eco:Drive can be installed in any Fiat 500, 500C, Punto Evo, Grande Punto Sound, Bravo, Qubo or New Doblò equipped with Blue&Me™.

It will soon be available on other Fiat models with Blue&Me™ too.

I therefore assumed the panda is not compatiable yet?! Is it any good?

It works with 1.2 engine or do you mean just trip computer? I read somewhere it does not work with this engine as you don`t have eco drive mode switch with 1.2 petrol engine.

When you get the optional blue&me package it works with every engine.

they probably just haven't updated the site. Ecodrive is a useless PoS anyway. It told me that my wife drove better on the same drive as me despite ecodrive saying that she got worse fuel economy. It's rubbish.

It works 100%, they even have a icon of the new panda when you choose your car in the app.

Haven't got Blue&Me, but agree with Maxi here re the site. Note it refers to the Punto Evo and Grande Punto Sound - well you can't buy either of those cars any more.

Expect the content is a good couple of years old, of course the previous model didn't have B&M anyway so guess that is why it doesn't work.

If I understand you correctly you need blue&me (techno pack) and tom tom live 2 unit to get eco drive mode display on 1.2 petrol engine? Or are you talking about main trip computer display and using USB stick to transfer data to you PC?

I`m taling about getting the techno pack (blue&me, usbi input, aux in, and a hole in the dashbord for the tomtom live 2, but you dont get the actual unit, the unit is a 450 euro extra) and then you can plug your usb in the car, on the main display it says eco drive on and you are good to go. After you drive for a while you come home plug the usb in your computer and open eco drive.

As for the tom tom live2 unit, when you have the unit you can get a screen that shows you how economical you are driving.

Well you see your instant fuel consumption with the trip computer, it also says when to shift. When you go home and plug in your usb the program tells you what are you doing wrong and tells you how to fix it. For example it shows you that you are changing gears to slowly and even shows which gear.

Well, no. More petrol burnt = more CO2

Yes, but you forgetting that MPG measures petrol burn in consumption to *distance*.

Let's say we have two monthly stats for two persons.

Person A burnt 10 gallons, and travelled 500 miles (highway). His MPG is 50
Person B burnt 5 gallons, and travelled 150 miles (city). His MPG is 30

So person B has lower monthly MPG, but better monthly CO2 emissions, just because he travelled less.

Which would make sense if I hadn't stated in my original post that it gave my wife a better Eco score even though Eco:Drive itself said she was less economical over the SAME trip.
