Hi, I'm new to the forum. I am searching for injector pipes for my vintage camper, a FIAT DUCATO 280 ROLLER ROML 42 (year 1984), diesel, 2445 ccm, 53 kW. I have been unable to find them anywhere, and I have written to all major part dealers. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find them? The problem is that they are leaking oil, and the mechanic has tightened the pipes in the past, but now he can't tighten them anymore. He said I should replace them with new ones.

Go by the Sofim Engine series Number some were 8144. more obscure, but later 8140. ones 2.5 and 2.8 before JTD were used in lots of makes including Iveco Daily Renault Mastif?, Citroen, Etc. You may even some one selling a scrap engine complete, I am not sure in early indirect injection ones are the same as later Direct Injection.
Engine Series number should be on a Chassis Plate somewhere, door pillar or under bonnet.:)

I found this VIN number: ZFA28000000168644. Does this include the engine series number?

I just found it. It is written on the car registration document. The number is 8144.

This may limit your search as the 8140. Series had a much longer production run.
Long term it may be worth looking to see if that engine version will fit your vehicle. See what your mechanic advises.

Thanks to both of you. I will check with my mechanic. It will take some time because I am very busy until the end of the month.

I have found Daren Diesels quite helpful in the past. https://www.darwendiesels.com/73-fuel-supply-pipes-fittings
Thanks for your advice. I contacted them, and they informed me that they manufacture diesel pipes for various applications and asked me for the measurements of the pipes. Meanwhile, I received an offer from www.reintsautos.nl, so I decided to order from them because they are based in the EU like I am, and it is easier for me to buy parts from within the EU.
