Hi thanks for accepting me to your group. I have a 2004 fiat doblo 1.9 hrs. The turbo has recently destroyed itself which I have now replaced but there is oil leaking from the exhaust when it is running. Could you knowledgeable people help me out olease
Regards steve

What happened did the engine run away? or did it start smoking?
or has it only started smoking since the new turbo? is it a new turbo
or used? if it was smoking on the old turbo it's likely that the oil
was dumped into the intercooler if it has one, and pipework by the old turbo,

Hi ralphM. Thanks for your reply. The van started smoking. It still ran fine just loads of smoke. Didn’t take it over 30 mph just to get home.

If as seems likely the turbo oil seals had gone oil would end up in the pipe work, intercooler and exhaust,
and that's what you are seeing dripping out, getting it out is going to be a bit difficult, I would start by
taking the pipes off the intercooler and having a look for oil there, cleaning as much as you can out of
there and the pipework, keep a eye on the engine oil level in case the oil is not from the old turbo.
