Hello guys,

I just bought a Fiat 500X recently, and having a look on the service stamp i find these 3 Fiat dealer stamps.

I don't have any idea how a Fiat dealer stamp should look but these stamps seems like fake one 😅...

If I contact the dealer can I get information about these services?

Attached the photos

Thank you to everyone

You most certainly should be able to verify any official Fiat dealer/workshop service.

I believe that for Fiat Warranty purposes/matters all dealers register services in the Fiat SIGI /eSIGI system.

Suggest you contact the dealer in question and ask them directly. They may want proof of ownership etc. as you are not a regular customer of theirs but that is usual/normal practice these days. If the dealer won't help then contact Fiat directly.

The Vospers ones look legit.. except they put the 9k stamp on the right, the 18k stamp on the left and got confused that the 27k service is a 44k(?) one..
If these were fake, they would be far neater... 😅

The other two stamps are not franchised Fiat dealers, so I would want to get a garage I trust to give the car a once-over, look at the cam-belt, tensioner and water pumps etc. to make sure it was all done. Cam-belt should have been changed by now.. otherwise it's 8 years old.

Thank you for your reply... that's the problem now the cam belt😅 basically 10 day's ago I got this car and after a week I have done a full service because I was worried about the type of oil since the dealer told me they have changed it..at the time of purchase I was told that this model has the timing chain and doing a fast search on internet it was a model in fact so I got confused..I have the petrol one and the one with chain was diesel..my trusted garage checked the cam belt and it's cracked..now the dealer don't accept that he told me timing chain and keeps telling that I accepted the car like it is.I was with a friend there when I got this however the dealer insists even after I told him that we are 2 confirming your statement ...I think I don't have a choice but just to replace it

That belt is the nastiest one I've ever seen that hasn't let go... don't use the car until it's replaced or it's going to end badly.

Technically it's not fit for purpose and you could ask the dealer for your money back, go to Citizen's advice and all the rest of it, which is going to be a bigger PITA than just replacing the belt (I presume you have no transport right now) and would still leave you with another car to buy.

If you like the car, see if the seller wants to avoid giving you a refund by contributing to you having the belt changed.. they might be pleased to get rid of the hassle for the sake of £200. Just look like you mean it, take any cash he offers and then get the beast a new belt (including water pump and tensioners).
