General Fiat Cussona 2006 faulty external step

Hi all,
Having a problem with the spindle on the external star it’s. Does anyone recognise this part?

Hi

It looks like a Linear Motor/Actuator made by Ciar. The part number is LM??, and the rating is 12 Volts 5 Amps. The LM40 is used in some steps, so it's likely to be this model. Take a close look at the label, are you able to straighten up the scraped bit and get a better read of the number ?

Try the step manufacturer (if you know it), search caravan spares suppliers for LM40 or approach Ciar in Italy directly. I suspect there is a big mark-up on these parts, so shop around for the best price.
