General Fiat ducato 2006 2.3

Hi I have a 2006 fiat ducato 2.3 when driving along motorway at 60 mph no problem when I come to slow down for traffic and just slowly moving then when I come to accelerate I get a puff of blue smoke then it stops it also happens if driving at say 30 mph then I accelerate any ideas anyone

Engine wear?
What miles?
Does it use oil between services?

I bought it with 36000 miles it now has 46000 miles that was 3 years ago and it still does it I don't have loss of any power and doesn't use oil between service

I have a 2010 Fiat Scudo with 125k miles that smokes from cold and is more noisy , but once warmed up no smoke and engine quiet.
It may sound daft but does your engine run cold or quickly reach the centre of the temp gauge 90degrees C where the engine runs more efficiently?

You would probably need to be running a diagnostic tool like MES to see when EGR opens.
Do you know if your vehicle has a DPF also?
