hi im new to here but i have had many fiats since i started driving started with a mk1 punto then a mk2 hgt punto my latest toys are now a 2011 bravo sport and a 97 coupe 2.0 20vt that shifts. could do with some help on the coupe as having problems with the rear brakes not locking up on test. I have pushed the pistons out of the calipers and are ok any ideas would be greatful thaks

The rear brakes are meant to not lock up - there's a load proportioning valve on the rear subframe beam that responds to front-end weight transfer when braking so that the pressure to the rear brakes is reduced

FWIW, you really don't want the rears to lock - I had it happen on my own Coupe when the proportioning valve seized up - sideways at 120mph is no fun (was trying desperately to scrub the speed off, as the end of the runway was a lot closer than I'd thought....)
