The sunroof on my Bravo has failed and the dealer doesn't know if it is going to be covered under the Fiat mechanical breakdown insurance and are charging two and a half hour's labour (approx £270 + vat) as an inspection charge regardless. Has anyone had to use the breakdown insurance which is given with a used car from the dealer and if so have you had this 'inspection charge'?

Did you buy it from said dealer? If so don't forget that warranties are a bonus but sales of goods act still applies............dealers use warranties to cover their arse not yours if you haven't had the car too long they should stand the investigation cost as it is unreasonable for the roof to fail in so short a time
