Technical Fiat App.

Hi Everyone;

We recently changed our Fiat 500e for a 600 la Prima hybrid. The Fiat app worked fine with the 500e, but we can’t make it work with the 600. What are we doing wrong?
When we try to reconfigure the APP for the the 600 doesn’t seem to be included. The only options are the 500e or the Doblo. We were expecting to see the 600 in the list as well.
We would appreciate any help.

The app is the same but the features are much much less… hardly any features for the 600 on the app and the location services is so slow to update half the time my car still shows where is was yesturday not where it is now. I used to use the app for the 500e multiple times a day now with the 600e I barely use it once a month I set a schedule for precon in the winter and turn it off summer that’s about it really

Thank you for your reply. My previous car was the 500e and I loved the car and the app features. Was hoping for something similar in the 600 upgrade. Perhaps it’s under developed for this car and will be updated in the near future? Thing is we can’t access the app for our new La Prima 600, in the drop down menu we only have the 500e and the Doblo. How do we get the app, useless or not?

Hey I had to get the dealer to do it and others on the 600e forum on Facebook had to contact fiat customer services as it wouldn’t work with the vin number alone. Try dealers or fiat CS to get your car sync’d to your app.
I’ve had the car for almost a year now and no updates have come also the app is chargeable after I believe the new cars have 6 months free before it’s chargeable and it’s not worth the price unless you heavily use the sat nav.
One the group members in the Facebook group met with a couple of fiat reps a few months back regarding the app and there was supposed to be a big change over (to make the monthly charge for the app worth it) however we’re yet to see or even hear about the changes weirdly all new cars have the 6 months free then pay for it but mine seems to keep being given a free extension not sure if it’s because mine was one of the first sales in the uk so haven’t got any of the upgrades (lighting etc) no one else apart from the early models are getting the extensions I have a feeling we are participating in research somehow lol but no sign of the new app

Thank you, very informative, a little disappointed to read they are to charge for this app. Not worth it, if no quirky features to play with, but will have a word with the dealership and see if they can install it. Loved it on the 500e. My daughter has the 500X which was also ours first. Don’t know if that even had an app? I appreciate you taking the time to interact with us. I relay all this to my husband.
