Styling Fiat 500X bike carrier

Hello everybody
my Fiat 500X 1.6Diesel Pop Star is excellent, I bought it last October, more than happy with it. But there is a problem, and I need forums help. I am trying to install a bike carrier, but according to Thule, Fiat etc I can do it only with the help of a towbar. The complete package for a hitch and hitch bike carriers is very expensive (over 1500 euros for Fiat Accessories solution) and about half of them for other brands.
Roof racks won't help, my garage doesn't have enough height...
Do you have another solution? Have you installed something else that might give a solution at a reasonable cost?

Hi there, I use a rack that fixes onto the rear of the car on the window and boot. There are a number of straps top and bottom and on both sides to tighten and tension the unit. I think I got the unit at Halfords about 5 years aho
