Hi All,
I have a Weber 28 IMB Carb on a 126A1 engine and wanted to know if you should make cutouts in the gasket that goes between the base of the carb and the plastic leak plate to prevent covering the two holes shown in red boxes? I have mine fully covered by the gasket and I'm not sure if that's okay or not.
Lastly, at idle, do you have your butterfly plate (Blue arrow) completely shut, as shown in the picture, or do you have it slightly open to allow air in for idle? I have mine slightly open (1/8") to allow air in for idle.
In the maintenance book I noticed the gasket has precut holes...
Thank you!
