General Fiat 500 Plastic Undertray

HI Everyone

On my Daughters 2017 Fiat 500 (Mirror) I have noticed that the plastic undertray (located passenger side middle of the car) is broken and hanging down slightly.

What is this undertray for and is it easy to replace as it looks like just 6 screws.

I think I have found the correct part for £40 on ebay but would appreciate any advise.

I havent taken it off yet but its definately in two pieces but I may be able to perhaps fix it with fibre glass etc.

Ideally I would prefer to take it off and replace it, still curious if anyone else has done this.

If it's cracked I'd consider drilling holes along each side and 'stitching' it together with cable ties...

Depends how broken it is...
