It was an Orange 127 Sport that put me on the Italian road. I hope to have the restoration finished by April next year. Can't wait to get it done. I've bought so many new parts it's should turn out almost new. "I hope"

hi mate how are you finding it getting repair panels what parts are you restoring, i did rear inner wheel arches, 2 outer arches, 2 sills, 4 panels from the floor to sill like little floor panels, you'll now what i mean, and 2 doors then finished it in blue pearl off nissan micra's which had just come out one off the first pearl colours to come out years ago, its original colour was the orangey red, i could of kept it going forever but was the misses and she wanted a change after 6 years she aint moaning about the uno turbo tho! theres a 127 around near me blue base model but bloody hell its mint, young girly driving it not seen another for years a bit like the uno miss the interior fishnets half pvc seats miles better than the crap uno interior good luck ant

Hi Ant. I was lucky in that the car had a very good sheel so I haven't had to do to much welding. I have a couple of new front wings and have them put away incase anything happens the car in the future. First chance I get I'll be buying the front panel as well just to be on the safe side.
I tend to buy any 127 stuff that comes up so I have it. "Just in case"

hi mate all the rot on mine was at the rear i got sold it when i was drunk on holiday but no regrets when it was on the road and after 6 years of faultless driving it was a great car wish i had it now but i swapped it for a 309 gti with the gearbox hanging out that took an hour to fix and i got £800 for thought i got a good deal but i wish i had kept it i'l find you a pic cheers Ant! my cars i own now

I've got a Metallic Grey/silver GT in the garage for 9 years, very rare in Ireland, also have a few rusty ones, and have just got a good 1983 903 hatchback to rebuild one.
I used to have 2 127 Sports in black, one I sold and is being fully restored, the other had a GT engine fitted, overturned it one night:( still miss that car, used to eat Nova SR's:D
