Yeah i love it. It was either that or a bit more for the Sony M8000 when i got it. The only downside is the single preout, but it still runs my 8 channels worth of amps. :p

The best thing bout it is that you literally cant see it from outside the car unlike many of the new black face displays. (y)

Why u not got it in ur car! :shakehead

So basically what ur saying mase is dont take em off, coz its not worth the hassel ;) . Might as well struggle to put the dials on that never knowing if ur speedo is right. There are plenty of people on here that have mucked this up. :p

i kno mine are right tho.

basically the car should idle at 900 revs, which it does, had a new rpm sensor fitted so the rev counter is right.

and in 5th gear at 4000 revs the car should b doin 80, with my 14's on my car does 78!!!! (y)

and to answer your previous statement, yea i made mine from scratch.

and they glow all blue!!! hehe i will post pics up (god i been sayin that for weeks!) wheneva i can b assed :p

i cant be bothered to alter mine so its accurate - i know that if i "accidentally" creep a little over the speed-limit, say on the motorway for example, i know that if i get pulled or flashed, its not gonna be as bad as the speedo reads!!!!

Matt, the amount that a speedo is out isn't a fixed amount, i.e. if you recalibrate the needle say at 0 to be at -2, it doesn't mean you would be -2 mph throughout out. It's all about the inherent inaccuracies of such a system and as such, leads to a % error hence resitting the needle may be correct for one set speed but will now be out for every other.

paul, i know its about inherent inaccuracies. the speedo needle is on a coiled piece of metal, so tightening/loosening that coil would alter the speedo throughout the range, but is far too much work for lazy me.

ive heard that most speedos are deliberately set to over-read to stop people from speeding on the motorways. i reckon most people cruise at about 75-80 mph on the motorway, therefore a 10% over-read would bring this down to 67-72mph
