I've got loads that I've probably mentioned in the past but currently re-watching X-Files amongst other things. Really holds up well even though it's over 15 years old :)

Other, more current shows include Chuck, which is winding down to a finale in a fairly mediocre last series but still good. Fringe is another highlight - some great writing from the team behind Lost. Also watching the latest episodes of Beavis and Butthead, which hasn't changed a bit. But in a good way :D

Just downloaded the first two episodes of a show called, "Alcatraz", which sounds quite interesting. Shall report back at some point perhaps in this thread if it is indeed decent :)

I'll also admit to being slightly hooked on the mediocre daytime quiz Pointless. It's terrible but somehow incredibly watchable

Let me think, favourire TV programmes. That would be WRC, IRC, Canadian Rally Championship, Asia pacific championship, and the British, Historic, Tarmac and Scottish championships when they come back on.
Broad viewing spectrum, I am sure you'll agree.

Almost forgot about Terra Nova - sci-fi series that replaced Stargate Universe and has Steven Speilberg involved. It's not too bad, interesting concept though the actual acting's a little...soap opera-esque. Still entertaining for me though, I'll watch pretty much any sci-fi even if it is a bit crap

You should get out more David, perhaps a drive through a forest would help.......

Anyway back on topic. 1963 was a momentous year for me, as my two long time obsessions started then. One was the adoration of bright red cars brought on by the tipo 156 "Sharknose" Ferrari and the other was Doctor Who.

I also enjoy House immensely together with the very soapy Greys Anatomy with Miss T. Top Gear has always been revered well before JC came along. Fifth Gear, Biker Build Off, Wheeler Dealers, MotoGP, BTCC, WSB, BSB. Ah feck it , anything that has engines involved.

Perhaps I should seek therapy.

If we expand this to all time favourite tv series then The West Wing has yet to be beaten for me.

The runners up are

British tv series

Blackadder
Red Dwarf
Tenko
Drop the Dead Donkey
Absolutely
Still Game
HIGNFY

American

American Gothic
Buffy
Studio 60

And probably more that I'll remember later

recently been watching American Horror story

anyone who likes creepy movies etc will more than likely love it, takes a while to work out whats going on, but it's damn good :)
