Hi, I have the following fault codes showing on my car (see attached picture).

I was wondering if simply replacing the second lambda sensor would fix all of these problems or is it something bigger than just a faulty sensor. eml is starting to annoy me

Thanks!

Also I was wondering if anyone could direct me to the correct part to buy online. I've seen some on eBay but I'm not sure if it's the right part. Not looking to spend loads as I know they can go for almost £100, just looking for a cheap fix for now if possible.

My car's a 1.4 Active AC model Stilo, a '54 plate.

Thanks again!

Your fault codes refer to the post cat lambda sensor, but don't necessarily mean that you need a new sensor. Check the heating circuit wiring and connectors between the sensor and the engine management ECU.
.

I deal with these codes and I a year with the same engine we changed probe 2 wire plug on the probe checked the ecu, etc .. disappeared two errors (P0141-P1141) P0136 but returns after delete all MES error.

Do you have a picture/diagram showing the location of these? I'm confident enough to have a look and repair myself but I've never done it before so any help would be appreciated! Also is it easily accessible without the use of a garage lift, say? Thank you!

So you reckon I should just change the post-cat lambda sensor to get rid of two of the fault codes? I don't mind doing that if necessary. Could you link me to the correct part online?

Or anyone for that matter :p

Off topic but witch Obd2 adapter you have?

I'm using my iPhone with an app I downloaded to connect to a Wifi based OBD2 plug in. Just a cheapy eBay thing really... I just wanted an idea as to what the eml was trying to say, if it was majorly serious then I could get it fixed asap.

Yes codes indicate the probe after catalyst does not work -P0136 specific probe sends no signal to the ECU and the P0141 probe indicates that resistance is not heated, and it memorizes ECU error codes and the MIL lamp ignition, but you can check the probe resistance jack unplugged (2 wires white) with 200 ohm ohmmeter scale should indicate 8 to 14 ohms probe depends Bosch NGK etc .. if you indicate 0 ohms or greater than 30 ohms probe is damaged, they have the ignition without starting the engine measure voltage at least 11V, the gray hair, the other 2 threads black is the signal probe to ECU and the wheat is the signal table probe, the black wire to the jacks connected and the engine running should indicate the meter 02-08v mv scale if 045v-055v non-variable value means that the probe does not send the signal and sends ECU 045v benchmark engine, you can check me not to have wires pierced, pinched, oxidised, jacks s probe have to have holes in the exhaust manifold and draw false air.
