This is what I wrote in my last post:

Basically got a new clutch put in about 6 months ago. When pressing down on my clutch now it feels really heavy again!I still have warranty on it, when i had the new one put in it felt quite easy pressing down on the clutch. Is this a problem with the clutch?

Also when trying to put into 1st gear it is very hard, will I need a new gearbox for this problem?

Cheers

Sven answered:

Check your brake fluid level, sounds like your slave cylinder is going. Also check if there is oil on the gearbox under the battery tray

Since then I have had the clutch looked at again by the garage and they say it is fine. But the clutch is still heavy and hard to put in gear! Sorry for lack of knowledge but wouldnt the slave cylinder be part of a new clutch? Is this the problem?Where can I pick this part up cheap?

The clutch slave cylinder isnt a part of a new clutch.

Its on the gearbox and it pushes the trustbearing fork so you can disconnect/connect the clutch.
The clutch “can“ be harder then before due to a new “clutch basket spring“ but that is around 10 to 30% harder then the old one.

Check the brake oil lewel and check if you have oil on your gear box under the battery tray, if you have, that points to a leak of the slave cyl.
