ive been using this site to watch a few potential investments http://www.share.com/webp/
have you been throwing thousands at particular shares or just dabaling with lots of various ones? if you dont mind me asking

Started off with about 10k.

and i take it things have gone well
did you know much about it before you started trading? or a total novice?
im getting put off by everyone saying "dont do it you'll lose everything" or "youve really gotta know your **** to that" hardly motivating remarks lol

then theres the property thing but im thinking its a bad time to go into that as prices have started falling in places

good good time to buy just not sell lol unless you do what i do and dont buy over £100000 as that is the FTB top level and they always sell quickley

the house im in i paid £85000 for
i put £12350 down and its now worth £99950 as valued buy 2 estate agents

my second i baught for £74000
i put £5200 on it and that is worth about £90000

if you buy at the right time and the right money you cant loose lol

Made about 40% in 6 months.

Intentionally it was my house deposit, but as the market stands, buying a house is just stupid at present. Wait until at least the summer until you do that.

I was a complete novice. All you have to do is read the news and research a few companies.

Personally, I invested in a Gold Mining house when Gold was back at $700/oz. Now it's $910/oz, so I made the right choice (With the dollar weakening).

If you want my honest opnion, stick your money in Gold as well, as the credit crunch in the USA is not going to alleivite itself overnight.

But as always, do your own research. If you want any advice, then I'm more than happy to offer what I know. Leave me your MSN and I'll add you.
