Does any one knows if Stilo 1.4L with air con has 2 radiator fans?
The reason I'm asking is coz today I've huked up my Stilo to the Fiat Ecu Scan
And tested the fan speed. Fan 1 works but for fan 2 it says "Operation Failed" and nothing happends(on 2 you can't hear the fan)
Any help is much appreciated!

There's just one fan and it has two speeds. The slower speed is provided by use of a low resistance resistor O10. If fan speed 2 is the hi speed fan then check the fuse F7 and relay T7 operation
I'm guessing fan 2 speed in FES is the slower speed which isn't working

Check the fuse F6 and if the relay T6 is clicking and supplying power to the resistor O10

You can test if it's the resistance broken by checking the resistance from the relay connector pin 87 to the fan motor supply and it should be around 1ohms.

If it's infinite resistance ie no circuit then the resistor is corroded and broken like this one (take the relay out and probe the terminal pin87)

New resistor is expensive or, if you're handy with electrics, you could maybe replace the resistance wire and provide your own weatherproof sealant

Attention - there is a thermal fuse near the resistor as a heat protector -it is connected in series with the resistor and cuts the current through the resistor when it gets too hot.
In most cases this part goes defect , not the resistor itself.
This part is very cheap, they are used in coffee-makers, water heaters etc. and have different heat indications so pay attention to replace it with the right one.
Once this part did it's job you have to replace it just like a normal fuse, you just have to pay attention not to heat it too much as it will break again fast.
Better is to use a clamp connection , i guess they're spot-welded very quickly in the factory.
The same applies to the resistor of the internal fan for the different fan speeds.

Not good with electrics atall and reading diagrams... Even worst!
I found out that fuse No 6 has no power at all. That means I need new resistor( the green part in the 3th picture)?
Thank you all for your help!

never change parts without a good diagnosis!
If there is no voltage at the fuse box you have to search for the cause between the fuse and the battery, the resistor will probably be ok in that case.
As i mentioned in the previous post, the thermal fuse under the restistor acts as a one-time circuit breaker so never change this part without verifying the continuity of this part and the resistor, they are connected in series with each other.
If you're not good with electrics/electronics find someone who is, a professional can quickly pinpoint the cause these kind of failures with a multimeter and a schematic diagram.

One more question. Is it true that if the resistor was blow the Fan won't work at all?
I had a blow resistor on my previous car(which is the same part as the fiat one) Alfa 156 and the fan didn't work at all!

The resistor is only for the fan when it's on slow speed, so if the resistor is burnt out, the high speed fan should still work. High and low speeds are on different circuits.

As explained by Decks above, the high speed fan is supplied from fuse F7 and relay T7. The slow speed fan is supplied by fuse F6, relay T6 and the resistor O10.

You say fuse F6 has no power. Did you check for power both sides of the fuse? You would need to remove the fuse and check for power at the sockets the fuse plugs into.

Fuses F6 and F7 are supplied from the same bus bar inside the fuse box, so if the high speed fan is working and there's no power to either side of fuse F6, there must be a break inside the fuse box.

On both sides have no power on fuse F6. I'll do fowrder check and keep posting.
Would anyone have a picture to point relay t6?
Thanks

Found all the pictures I need in Deckchair5 how to. Thanks!

some update. I've let the car run for a while until it ritch normal temperature for the first speed of the fan to kick in and presto the fuse F6 had power. Could be only the resistor, is it?
Very expensive part 55euro here in Ireland
