Technical Fan/Blowers - Lack of power

My blowers seem to not blow as fast as they normally did, which is a big problem when i need to de-mist my windowscreen because at the moment it takes about 15mins on full power.

has anyone else had this problem?

Are you sure you have the circulation switch switched off? if so are you sure the switch is working? you can tell if you sit in your car with the fan on your face (full) and switching between both modes and if its working you should feel the diffrence on your face, if they feel the same then it maybe possible that the swicth maybe stuck on?

Check your pollen filter is not blocked.

Hi Peter.

Definitely sounds like the pollen filter. My Stilo suffered from the same problem. When I took the filter out (eventually) it was covered in all sorts of muck. Leaves, feathers and lots of Scottish 'stoor'! Have a browse through the forum, I'm sure someone has posted images of how to access the filter (behind the centre dashboard console). Hope this helps.
