Technical Failed on front position lamps ???

Hey guys!
i had my MOT the other day and failed on a few things which i understood and have been taken care of:slayer:, but i failed on ''nearside front position lamp(s) not in good working order (not working)..
well i havent a clue what the tester was looking for with this, im guessing they are the sidelights :bang: but they work perfectly fine. what lights do i have to check? would rear registration plate lights come under it? i cant think of anything else and the last thing i want is for the tester to turn around and say i haven't taken care of it

Best thing you could do is compare it with the other side yourself? Turn them on and check, check main beams too.

i checked every light on every setting the other night, my mate just said to me to go and say you changed the bulbs, he might be pulling a fast one.

Is he offering you a second MOT for free? If it he could be hopefully someone on here can help you more than myself.

When my car "failed" its MOT before he made it official he told me of the problem before he printed the certificate and offered a free MOT and discount on handbrake cable.

I think he pulled a fast one because thats the garage I went to before to have the handbrake cable replaced.

Yes i got to bring it back in a week, with all problems fixed and he'll just check they've been done.. i'll just have to see tomorrow again, cheers for your help!!:slayer:

You could take it to a Fiat mechanic and ask him to show you what the problem might be

Hi, is the N/S indicator light working on the front wing? does the tester says that the lamp is not working as it could be headlamp beam allinement, why not phone garage & ask!.
