General Failed mot. Urgent help needed.

Right this is a hum dinger. Failed its test and theresone problem I'm stuck on. When the engine is turned off, no lights. I cant flash main beam or put the side lights on. Also theres no cigar lighter or radio but, the interier lights work. Could this be a barrel probem or fuse. Or something else. Any advice would be most welcome.

the multi or at least mine does the same thing, when the engine is off it cuts the power to the lights and radio to avoid leaving them on and flattening the battery, i dont understand why this has failed your mot it shouldnt have unless your lights dont work with the ignition on

doesn't sound like you have any problems at all raineuk and all the electrics are working correctly. like shaun said i dont understand why this has failed the mot.
there is a parking light function on the multi which can be operated by turning the ignition key in the opposite direction from start whilst pushing the button in that forms part of the barrel.

it sounds as though the mechanic may be a bit confused of the electrical system in the multi. go back too the garage and explain that all multi's are the same, and its a battery saver what has it actually failed on..?
