When I bought my panda back in 2023, I noticed the paint on my rear spoiler had faded badly, I was told it would need to probably be painted to get the best result.
In true diy fashion I thought sod it I have lacquer in the garage a quick trip to Halfords to buy some wet and dry sand paper and we was ready!
I lightly sanded the spoiler to key it and remove what looked like damaged lacquer, when the spoiler when wet looked good which gave me confidence the paint was actually in good condition.
You have to be super careful as the paint is super thin, I then added about 6 coats of lacquer and wow even I am impressed with the results.
So if you have lacquer damage on your panda why not give it a go yourself first!
