Faded Italian stripes decals

I have the Italian stripes decals on the sides, bonnet & boot of my evo. However the red part of the stripe on the bonnet has slightly faded. Any ideas on restoring this would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried some colour magic but this didn't make any difference.

I would imagin replacement is the only real option. Polishing it will make no difference just wear the sticker away

The color from the sticker faded. No color there for restore..

How long have they been on the car? decent quality vinyl should last between 5 - 7 years before fading

They're the factory fitted vinyl option. The car is 3 years old now. I improved on them last night by using a tiny bit of cif! Just needed something slightly abrasive to bring the colour back.

Vinyl tends to come in 3 options or guarantees, 3,5 and 7 years, once faded there is not much you can do apart from replace it, if you pay slightly more and get them laminated then they will last that bit longer again.

So I guess the genuine fiat vinyl stickers only come with a 3 year guarantee (to match the manufacturers warranty)?

Pretty much covering themselves I guess, although you would have thought they could have at least put some longer lasting vinyl on

No, I never use them! Coincidentally, a colleague of mine had his car damaged by one this week!
