it doing my nuts in.... some times it loads other it dont, then not all the picks open. it slow and when i got to post a reply as u saw i posted it 3 times..... who is in charge cos they need to sort it....

Its been ok for me today. Granted its sometimes slow but if you click on 'submit' three times whilst its thinking about it, it will post three times.

Just have a chill pill, relax and take your time

no i was submitting and then it when to a blank screen so i went back and looked at the post nothing so i went back in and did it again and then it posted 3

i hate this forum some times.... GRRRRR

The forum will get slow when there are lots of users on. Dont forget that this forum is run by somebody out of the goodness of their heart. Do you fancy forking out for extra bandwith Smee?

I must admit this forum used to stress the t1ts off me before I got broadband, as it can be very tempremental even to the point of not working at all. I must have posted over 1000 messages and just not bothered becuase it died (Wayhay I hear you say - put him back on dial up).

Trouble is Smee, in Narfuck you have only just sussed the Narfuck Broads, let alone the infomation superwebyway and Narfuck Broadband

wtf r u on about. ive had broadband for ages. and i got cable aswell. no matter what i use its till bloody slow. any 1 want to tell me or help me star a webby.... was thinking of start a new webby £40 a year it will cost me but i need help to do it

gonna have links, walk throughs, ect, members with pics and crap. and depending on what my limit is. this forum if some 1 want to upload it..... whos is it. they can still be the admin rights for it just should be quicker....

To be perfectly honest, I have not seen a degredation in the performance of the forum at all. Apart from it's little foibles, like posting on to the wrong threads or the ocasional refresh issue. As Wimmy said, this forum is provided FREE OF CHARGE, so you can't really complain.

I seem to remember that this is how the FIAT Forum started. As I rarely frequent that site, I couldn't say how successful it has been. As far as creating another site out of all the parts that already exist here, I think you'd be hard pushed to compete as this forum works off Network54 servers, and these people have A LOT of hardware to make this, and the other forums it hosts, run as well as they do (Ok, I know we've all had issues with Network54 at some point). You would need an excellent host provider, which isn't cheap, to handle the volume of traffic. Are you prepared to pay out of your own pocket for this ?

Wimmy and Nige's excellent BOO site is another wonderful and free resource and all of these sites compliment each other.

Good luck if you intend to follow this route. We await the fruits of your labour.

I've never really had a problem with any of the Fiat sites.
Maybe you need a new computer, or need to get rid of some of the clutter your keeping on the one your useing now. lol
