So I been rebuilding the front end of my car and I always had a extra connection that does not go onto anything anyone know what it might be for?

The circle one is the passenger head light but I not got a clue about the rectangle one any ideals???

From what I can see of the connector, and the wire colours, it looks like the connector for the front and rear automatic headlamp alignment devices used only on cars with Xenon HID headlamps.

If it is that, the connector and it's wire colours should be as below. I believe it's only fitted to the left headlamp.

  1. Orange/white.
  2. Light Blue/dark blue.
  3. Blue/black
  4. Blue/green
  5. White/blue
  6. White/brown.

Left headlamp contains the master ECU for headlamp adjustment. Right headlamp has a slave ECU.

Does the connector and wire colours match my description in post 2 above?
Does the car have Xenon HID headlamps?
