I need to do something about my LHS door mirror. I have a RHD van in France and at some junctions I have zero visability on my left at some junctions. Is it possible to replace the current single flat mirror with a mirror from a later model with the built in secondary blind-spot mirror. I have seen one swapped on a Peugeot boxer but I don't know if it is a easy to do in a Ducato. This photo of Bluemu shows the general mirror type I'm talking about.

You can bolt them straight on but most are electric adjust so you may want to look for manual.

Thanks corcaí, the one for sale is non-electric so I'm very optimistic about it. I've just ordered it and I'll put up an update when and if I get it fitted. The seller offered me a full refund if it doesn't fit so only my postage is at risk.

Just in case anybody is interested I was able to fit a 2005 non-electric mirror onto a 2000 model with absolutely no difficulty. It took literally 5 minutes to do now I can see safely at junctions. Well worth the small outlay.
