Hi first post within the forum so be kind, I've done a search without any luck, I need to replace my Exhaust including the black box down to the last layer of steel, Garage I use have said they can only find them for import from Italy priced at £350 I think plus the wait for delivery anyone had any luck within the UK its a Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-jet

Cheers Bryn

Hi bryn standard bravo complete systems (from the down pipe back) seem to be very pricey. Prices vary from £400 onwards and I've even read on here of people getting quoted nearly £1000 for a standard mild steel exhaust. Garages being restricted to buying them from main dealers I think may have something to do with it but I've never found out why its ended up like this. I had a massive split in my back box which I discovered over Christmas. It wasn't blowing but it wasn't going to be long before it did. Having read lots about the price of standard exhausts I opted for a made to measure stainless steel one by powerflow (I never myself got a quote for a mild steel one as I knew I wanted a stainless one) I'm lucky as my local garage is a powerflow agent so I booked it in. I chose a "like for like" system so it's not sporty and it's all hidden away behind the rear bumper. It took them a day to do and they made it from the cat back and being stainless steel it comes with a lifetime warranty so never again will I have to worry about the exhaust system failing an MOT and the price? £420 all in. It's a little drummy on tick over but I think it's quiter at higher speeds but over all I'm very very pleased with it (y) so maybe you can look in to this yourself
