thought my de-cat pipe had come loose, turns out iv got a big ol crack!!!!!

the section that connects the 4-branch to the bottom of the car has a gaping big hole in it!!!

its the section that the lamda sensor is connected to, anyone have any idea how much this will cost to replace? or if it is ok to fit yourself?

You can fit it yourself Rob, its only like a water temp sensor, just be carefull with the wires and dont smack the end of the new about putting it in. If you use the same sensor, then be careful both ways.

just got meself some metal tape and filler stuff to patch it up for the mo!

do you think it would be worth changin the lamda sensor now, when i change the pipe, the cars done 95k so would it help my fuel economy changin it?

oxygen sensor

don't change it if your fuel consumption is ok... I doubt that the sensor can work correctly though, since there's much less backpressure, and gasflow is increased ?
