General exceleration problem marea 20v

Hi guys, ive got a 1998 fiat marea 20v with 57000 miles on the clock. Ive owned the car for a year now without a problem, although it seems to have lost a lot of its bottom end power. Its became very slugish on pull off. Top end is fine but it don't get there to quick. Any ideas would be greatfull. cheers guys!!

servicables are first on the list. if airfilter and plugs have not been changed in line with the service schedule then start with them.

next i'd try cleaning the MAF with an alcohol based cleaning spray.
