Er did I just get violated... 48k service..

48K service.

Does this sound normal or did I just get violated?

Was at Fiat (priory) in Huntingdon.

Not seen what all they done, but when I asked for an estimate it was £250.

Bit of a jump...

Well, I went and ranted.

They took off 40 quid.

As well as the service they changed the spark cables ( see my thread from the other day about juddery start ), and hadnt quoted me that when they said 250 for service.

Tried to charge me labour on that.

I begged to differ.

I won.

Still seems a load of wonga for a 1.2 48k service imho, but ah well. Least my moter running nice again

That's outrageous! Fiat dealer near me quotes £126 plus parts and VAT for a 12K service on an HGT.

12k service is very minor.

Thats about reasonable for a 48k service, I paid £458 but that included a new injector at £130

Guess you was robbed too then Tom. I had my 48K at DTR and it was £198 all in. Seems a lot of money for a 1.2. 1 less spark plug to start with.

72k service and MOT with pickup and dropoff £139

Changing an injector in a 1.6 is a £250 job for Fiat so really the service was not alot over £200.
