Technical EOBD2 Readers

Hi all,

just learnt that Fiat want £30 just to connect reader to my car to clear airbag fault light.:bang: (Cause already resolved). Looking at buying a reader, but all say that European Diesels compliant from 2004, my Multi is late 2002 (115bhp). Can anyone tell me if it is compliant? Also any experiences of hand held readers, looks like I can get one from Ebay for under £30 including P&P.

Most code readers won't reset the airbag light. AFAIK only Fiat Examiner can reset the airbag light.
