General Engine swop

Hey i'm looking for a 3door uno but the engine can be out or broken,but okay when i found it i want to put a 1400 pacer motor and gearbox in it,i know the mounings is not the same but there is holes in the 3 door body for that...but is there any other changes?

"Pacer" is a South African spec Uno.

why dont you buy an uno with a 1.4 engine already fitted?

if you do the conversion go for the later 1.4 engine from the tempo. the tempo was the fiat made uno, the pacer was nissan made, both used the same basic engine but the tempo has a newer version of it which uses less fuel.

if you buy a uno with the 1.1 engine and change it to the 1.4 engine there are loads of possible differences such as exhaust, driveshafts, gearbox linkages, etc. ask in the uno section about converting a 1.1 to 1.4 and see what they say.
