the crazy panda 4x4 in my signature has the 1242cc punto 75 engine with batch fired MPI.
theres nothing more nice than getting into a car on a cold day and instantly being able to start it with no choke
fuel consumption is about the same as the carbed 999cc engine, power is slightly more, the car seems to drive the same only a little faster.
the very early (before 1995) ECUs had no immobiliser built into them so you dont have that to worry about. its only 4 wires to connect up anyway if you do get one.
i do recommend an injected engine just for ease of use after the work is done.
