Engine swap,anyfin i shud know??

the engine from my 1.4 is bein put in2 my 1.8 as the engines fecked in the 1.8,my uncle has now agreed 2 do the swap for me but 2 b honest i dont no if i trust him doin it!! but im on a budget!! is ther any silly mistakes that he cud make that i shud warn him of??

I would'nt even bother. sell the 1.4 to fund a replacement 1.8 engine. You dont really wanna go down in power do ya plus you'll devalue the 1.8 as there worth more than 1.4's
