Hi everyone I have just joined the Fiat Forum my 2000 Ducato 2.8 122hp Rapido Motorhome has just died, it was running perfectly my speed was about 30mph there were no noises or hesitation or misfire. The cambelt is ok, it has plenty of diesel, the fuel filter has done about 2000 miles the engine electrical connections appear to be intact with plenty of power in the battery. I don't have any information on this vehicle although I have just ordered a workshop manual from ebay, does anyone know where I can get drivers hand book for the Ducato

Thanks in anticipation

you say "IT HAS PLENTY OF DIESEL" i'm assuming here you mean IN THE TANK .. I would be giving the Fuel Pump a SERIOUS DOSE of "looking at" & its associated wiring & fuse connections ..
for it just "STOP" whilst travelling at 30 MPH it MUST be an Electrical Failure

so things to check here

A. Fuel Pump
B. Associated Wiring
C. Fuse & fuel pump Relay
D. Earth Strap from Engine to Body ..

Check these things out & let us know how you get on ..

Hi , and welcome to FF, :)

also worth checking the Crank Angle Sensor,
on bottom pulley of crankshaft ( right front wheel area)

to be honest, plugging in a CODE reader could help narrow down a fault, ;)
