Engine problems!

iv recently dropped a new engine into my motor, and iv got a slight immobilizer problem, iv not swapped the immobilizer yet but im hoping to do so this weekend, but since iv had the new engine, the car struggles to accelerate, iv had a friend who is a machanic look at it, he said it souldnt be shacking or struggling, someone else told me that it could be the immobilzer hat causes this...

anyone got any ideas what it could be?

If it was the immobiliser it simply wouldn't run.

Most likely you've missed something off during the swap.

well thats what i was told, iv had a dianostic or what ever its called done, and the immobilizer and the ecu doesnt match up, so it shouldnt be starting at all, but it does...it takes 5 seconds for it to start but it does start.
