A weird problem has started with my 2002 1.6 Stilo.
I'll be driving along/sitting in traffic and at seemingly random points the engine temperature guage will go from half way straight up to the very top in less than a second. Then usually a couple of seconds later it will go straight back to half way. Stop engine thing comes up with 3 beeps.
It just goes crazy for a few seconds!
This happens going 70 on the motorway and just sitting in traffic. So by the way it occurs I'm thinking electrical fault.
Reservoir is topped up nicely and no obvious leaks.
Check the engine temperature sensor maybe? (haven't done this yet but will from the guide on here)
Or any other ideas?
