General engine mount torque setting.

any body have the torque setting for the mount, part that bolts to the engine, 1.2 8v . managed to strip one bolt after doing a headgasket with a short 3/8 ratchet! still have 3 bolts holding it on but dont want these to strip if i have to take it off again. not sure if i should removed the other 3, loctite them and torque (if somone has the setting) or just leave it

according to my haynes

the 3x Mount bolts to body are 45nm
The 4 or 3 (mount depending) attaching the lower and upper halfs together are 50nm
The bolts that go into the side of the cylinder head are 22nm

if youve stripped one i guess you havent lined the mounting up right
stop
and start again

Thanks for the setting ziggy, mount was lined up fine, bolts put In by hand then tightened with ratchet. One just keeps spinning

If its a bolt that goes into the Cylinder Head - then its gonna be tricky to fix that

Heli-coil
Liquid metal + Tap
Oversize + Tap

if the bolts threaded, a new bolt might work, but no way of knowing tbh

if other 3 bolts tighten up nicely i wouldnt be overconcerned with the 4th protoco er bolt
still trying to understand how it stripped though
i always blame user error mindl

You will love this. Took bolts out again, cleaned theads and torqued to 22nm, another stripped on. Have to bolts holding mount on, a top and a bottom one diaganal to each other. Going to use car till it causes me an issues, have paint marked other 2 bolts so will keep my eye on them, mount has been off alot of times, cam belt change, two leaking water pumps and a squeeling tensioner, threads prob worn. If req will take head off again and take it to engineers for helicoil
