Well said.

One of my friends has got the fastest Fwd car in britton a Nova and when he takes it to the pod its great to see the 20k smiles being wiped of all the evo and wrx drivers faces

Morten; I do not your points and won't argue back; it's all about personal opinion.

But it's FWD....Maximum useful power being 250-300BHP through the front wheels before the point of it is lost! Unfortunately FWD is not and never will be for all out performance.

Hei Paul.

I didn't mean to argue. I've just got an open mind. People use their money on the weirdest things, and I won't tell them not to do it. It's like when people say "get a life" because someone thinks you're wasting time and money on a stupid project. This really tells me that this someone is able to concentrate fully and devote themselves to a certain project, and hence is able to do amazing things when for instance becoming a professeional designer (or any job).

And Paul, it seems you say what you mean, and mean what you say. That's a good thing.

i love spending me money on my UT

but then again i love seeing scoobies/m3's etc drivers faces as i stick to there rear bumper on the juel carrigeway :D

and i get a bigger smile when the motorbike i blew off at 120+ the other day then pulled up next to me, flipped his helmet open and said "what the bloody ell u got in that mate? i couldn't keep up!" and he looked gutted when i said "1.4 mate" hehe and it wasn't a crappy scooter or nothing, beefy bike it was :D

Exactly what I mean. Memories like that last forever. It's like the Ritmo (Strada), "what the hell have you got under the hood?" I say "8 valves". Not mentioning their size. Two cams but still only 4 cams per shaft. There's nothing like beating a Beemer with a slick guy behind the wheels and a supa'blonde loco chick next to him. :D It's moments like that that makes the effort worth it. And you can tell your grandchildren in 50 years - like I say, memories last forever, money don't.

An Uno Challenge car (basically a stripped-out 1.3 with minor engine and chassis mods) can easily beat a porsche round a track. You can build an Uno Challenge car for £2000-2500 whereas a porsche racer, well i wouldnt even like to guess how much one of them would be!

All i am trying to say is that with an Uno, u dont have to spend all your cash to get a car that would beat a much more expensive one.

got to agree guys just got an U T this week and im already in love with it cant wait to start spending a bit of money and time on it!

im interested in getting a uno ready for track racing?

got any info, or any sites on the net that might have info for me?
