Engine Management System Failure warning!

Twice now I have had this message come up. both times while driving along having just taken a left hand bend a bit fast (not really pushing it but giving a bit of stick). both times I have pulled over and switched off the ignition which has reset the fault warning.

Any ideas ? I thought maybe a loose or damp connector but don't know where to look....
