Technical Engine Management Light (70mph)

Hi All,
The engine management light came on today at around the 70mph limit, slight hesitation in engine performance, then settled at a steady 68mph.
At all other speeds the car drove normally.

The car is a 1.3 MJet (75bhp). It is due an oil filter/oil change and also a fuel filter change. Air filter done last week.

I'm thinking a little bit of crap or condensation from the fuel tank has gone down an injector. Would it be worth cleaning the EGR Valve?

Your thoughts please.

(I have checked the other posts, but majority seem to cover start up problems)

Have the ECU read to be sure what's the problem...

It happened last week as well, but the light went out after a couple of hours, but yes will get the ECU checked.
