Hi all, from a newbie...Whilst I was driving warning light flashed up low oil pressure, on way home from work message never appeared, so checked oil which was quite low and topped up,then while driving came up with engine problem, then engine light came on ...is it because oil was low or is it censor problem or something else..thanks

often it's a sensor throwing up a fault.. sometimes due to a poor power supply,
best bet is to ;

1, check all fluids

2, check battery voltage and alternator is charging

3, check fusebox for damp

4, read the fault code.. that may well tell you which sensor has flagged a "fault"
