I take it you have checked the actual spark plugs? When you take them out you will easy see the ones that are not sparking as they will be wet with fuel. Also check the plug connections and wires to the coils for a tight fit and clendliness.
Start with the pluga, they're cheapest, and you can generally check visually (wet plugs, cracked insulation). Follow by the olde pull off the aicleaner housing, run it at night, look for blue sparks, trick. Swap[ coil packs, see if the misfire moves with the coil pack. Finally, compression test. Time spent on diagnosis saves you money.
If micro ECU (two connectors) then ECU failur is a real possibility. Guides should be in the Puntp Mk2 section (but they're faffing about with the Punto bits, so if you can't fin it there......). If late MPI, ECU failure is very unlikely.
Wortyhwhile checking the leads and plugs (the old "start it up at night look for blue flashes" trick.
Good evening my Friends from Greece. I have a Seicento with 187a1000 engine and i have the same problem. Ι have misfirng to second and third cilinders. I have replaced the spark plugs, the conectors and ''B'' ignition coil. And still the same. Now i want to check the wires to the ecu before i change the ECU. Does anyone have the wiring diagram of the ecu or the engine's bay?
