Technical Engine Knock

hello,
I just bought a 1968 Fiat 500F , and it has developed a knock sound like the engine hits the body of the car.
This happens on Start up one or two knocks and also going over bumps
I have. Changed the rear engine mount but hast made a difference. Can someone suggest what else it could be

Gearbox mount have been recently changed
And coincidentally the knocking became worse after they were changed

When you change the gearbox mounts you have to make sure that when fitted there is as much clearance as possible between the top of the gearbox and the transmission tunnel whilst also making sure that there is clearance between the gearbox cross-member and the bottom of the gearbox---it is a bit of a balancing act, which is why there are slotted holes in the cross-member for the gearbox mounts

Check it's not the exhaust hitting the bodywork on the tailpipe too.

You were correct , tail pipe was hitting , got it
Bent down no more knocking !
