Technical Engine identification

Hi, I have bought a 650 engine in anticipation of buying a car to put it in. My question is to find out how old the engine I have and any other details about it eg unleaded etc

From experience, Fiat are unable to date an engine from its number. I am ledto believe that being that it is a alloyhead, the valve-seats a
ARE compatable with un-leaded fuel. However, if you are going to 'enhance' the engine, you will be fitting slightlybigger inlet valves which will require new seats, so you can specify 'unleaded' seats---you might be able to get the exhaust seats done at the same time (although you do NOT need to enlarge the exhaust valve size).
