If it's any help to you, Techolube is a own brand manufactured under licence by Tetrosyl.....AKA Carlube oil. Not very well known and haven't come directly through our labs but previously Tetrosyl haven't been very poor or failed testing so hope this at all useful.

I'm wondering then if the one I am using, ACEA C3 5W-40 has a problem with poor viscosity at working temperature, could be the reason as I say the MAF was clogged with oil and it being thinner has allowed more to be drawn into the manifold and causing the issue.
I have had two tablespoons in the catch tank in slightly under a month.
The reviews seem OK and there has been no complaints lodged about this particular oil, something in the back of my mind tells me that one of Technolube's oils had a spec issue but I cant find reference to it.
Time for another oil change methinks.
