Grande Punto Engine cuts out...

Need advice desperately...
I have a 2007 1.3MJD Punto. Very rarely on hot days the engine would die without warning while driving. After 15 minutes or more it restarts fine after cooling down. Its getting more common now and worse to the stage it won't start on a hot day.
A mechanic read error codes which suggested a pressure problem?
I have changed Crankshaft sensor and fuel filter without success.


Does anyone have any ideas?

There is not many faults that could cause the running engine to turn off - most frequent of them is implausible signal from fuel rail pressure sensor. So the problem is with the sensor, its wiring, with the fuel pressure regulator or with the CR pump itself.

not sure if I have put this thread in the right place { new bee} I have a mk 3 punto with a miss fire on port 4 Ive had a new set of plug leads, new coil packs new plugs checked injectors all fine there is a clear spark on the plug .called AA OUT THEY TOLD ME COIL PACK CHANGE IT AGAIN,still no joy please help

I have no changed crank sensor and lambda sensors still no joy
